The child and the small panda

The fourth graders of the Acqueville school (Normandy) worked on one of the stories we put online. They sent us a dozen little stories. To reward them, we decided to publish one. Here is «The Child and the Little Panda», by Camille and Lisa, because we had to choose one, but we want to thank all the children for their work!

It is the story of a small panda called Saathi, he walks in a bamboo forest. And suddenly a snow leopard that was hiding in the forest comes up and jumps on him. But a little boy named Leo, who loves animals, arrives to save him from the clutches of the snow leopard. He’s a brave nine-year-old boy with brown hair and brown eyes. It frightens the ounce by shouting very loudly and waving branches found on the ground. Then the snow leopard goes back into the bamboo forest and never comes back again. Saathi jumps into Leo’s arms. Leo’s boyfriend tells him to go to a protected forest. The next day they go to the other side of the mountain. And they meet a very nice protector with black hair, his name is Hugo, he’s twenty years old. He told them to put Saathi in a protected forest with the other red pandas. Then Leo said goodbye.
